Before starting the gravity fall metal detector, check whether the conveyor belt is clean, and whether there are obstacles or pollutants, otherwise these substances will affect the detection accuracy of the equipment, and then turn on the power and let the equipment warm up for 30 minutes!
The detection requirements of products in different industries are different, and the effects of different products are different. These factors will affect the subsequent detection accuracy, so the sensitivity of the gravity feed metal detector should be set before use, and a standard metal test block should be used. (Fe: Φ is less than 0.8mm, SUS: Φ is less than 1.8mm) for inspection, if it fails, it is normal!
Standard metal block detection test:
Put the two test blocks in an empty box with a small product effect, and then place them in the left, middle, and right places of the belt in turn, the detector should be able to alarm and stop running (3 times for each test block);
Simulated metal detection:
Put the two test blocks on the upper and lower parts of the product respectively, and pass through the left, middle, and right positions of the detector conveyor belt respectively. The gravity fall metal detector should be able to alarm and stop running (6 times for each test block). If the gravity fall metal detector can alarm and stop running every time it is tested, it means that the sensitivity of the equipment is qualified and product testing can be carried out!
After all the procedures in the current period are completed, the product can be put into the product for testing. If it can pass smoothly and there is no alarm, the product is a qualified product;
If the gravity feed metal detector beeps and stops running, it is suspected that there is metal foreign matter mixed in the product. For unqualified products, repeat the inspection 3 times. If there is no alarm for 3 times, it can pass, but there is any 1 alarm. If it is suspected that there is metal foreign matter mixed in the product, it needs to be processed in the next step!
